Euphimia

After a long bottom end rebuild. Euphimia is ready to go. Now that the fresh new Garboard planks are on, you would never know that almost all the floor and keel bolts were replaced. Engine timbers were re fastened and heat exchanger was reconditioned and re mounted. Euphimia was built in 1929 in Seattle. There was no doubt that the fasteners that we replaced were original. I'd be very happy if our bolts lasted 81 years. Euphmia will be launch Wednesday June 9 2010 just in time for a short sea trial and the off to the first of the summer Classic Yacht rendezvous. You may also notice by the pictures that we gave her a new pain job and a reconditioned swim grid. A new laminated rubbing strip re places the steam bent oak one. Euphmia is a member of the CYA Classic Yacht Assosiation.
